Late 80's early 90's bronco/f-150 aluminum wheels on an EB?

Anybody running these? I need to get new tires and am considering picking up a set of these wheels because I've always liked the look and think they might pair well with an EB. Currently running stock 15X7 steelies with 33x9.5" tires on uncut fenders with 3-1/2" suspension lift and 1" body lift. I believe the bronco/f-150 wheels are 15X8, not sure what the other specs on them are. I'll be moving to 33X10.5" tires and I'm not sure if I'll have rubbing issues on the back with an inch wider tire and an inch wider rim. Anybody have experience with and/or pictures of a similar setup? I've included a pictures of the current setup and wheel in question. IMG_1944.jpg ford wheel.jpg

When I purchased my Bronco, it had a set of these on it with 31x10.5s. Mine was cut with a little lift. Looks like your Bronco is lifted enough so these will not be an issue. If you are in the midwest, I have a that set available.

If you are after that late 80s/90s look.

With the rest of the Bronco built up in correct style, they can look good.
But they can just as easily look out of place.

I had the Alcoas on my 94 and 96. Here's a view on an early bronco.

I still have the grey set for sale.

The old school steelies look like trash on your rig. If you think they will fit on my 77...I will buy them

I'm with uncletom, but do what makes you happy!

I got my wheels off a '94 Bronco at the local yard. I do have a little rub on EXTREME right/left turns, but i have 35 x 10.5. Sounds like that shouldn't be a problem with 33's

The Alcoas have a 4" backspacing so you'll need to adjust your steering stops to keep them from rubbing.

I ran them on a 73 I built years ago. No problem I ran 33x12.50x 15s Procomp MT tires. I also had a set on a 75 I had but they were only 31x10.50x 5 tires. No rubbing on either set up.

Thanks for all the input everyone. I think I’m going to keep the steelies on this one. I still really like those Alcoa wheels though. They might look better on my trash bronco.

What spacers did you use? I have a 76 and am considering using this type of rim. But of course they rub. It will take 1/2" spacer to resolve the setback difference but what about the length of the studs? Did you replace those? Thanks!
