Help identify my dipstick

I bought a new C4 dipstick and tube for my 1974 bronco from the bronco graveyard and it looks completely different from the one I pulled off. Does anyone know if either of the ones in the attached picture are the stock assembly. I am wondering if the new one will even work without hitting my longtime headers.

The old tube looks like a stock one. New tube is aftermarket. Pan is not from a Bronco.
