Hi Dixie, welcome! 2nd post I see. Factory bench seats came in silver, silver and parchment or parchment. Tan would be something other than stock.

Considering the factory stopped making the half cab in 1971, I think you might be looking for a unicorn.

I've also never seen any Explorer trim package Broncos with bench seats. Do you have a photo of the upholstery?

Silver was 66 only. Silver and parchment was 67 and maybe 68. We have one of each in our 66 U13 and 67 U14.

I have seen a tan bench in an original survivor half cab at the BYOB event 5 or 6 years ago. It was a 69 or 70 as I recall.

You have to become a contributor to post photos, or you can include a link to a hosting site like Photobucket.

The code is stamped "Body" on the VIN/warranty tag, but since they did not make a 74 U14, it will be suspect regardless.

Yep, and we can tell if it were an Explorer or not originally.

My Marti report says my 73 Explorer came with Orange Random Stripe Bench Seat, which is incorrect.

No half cab in 74 so I made my 74 one.

Here are the covers the OP needs. Silver with silver bar insert and Parchment with silver bar insert.

Bronco Hut is the only game in town that I know of for these. I tried to track down another source because $590 is outside my budget and couldn't fine anyone selling.

I ended up going with my own idea. I think it came out great and it was $400 total.

We have had three bench seat covers custom made in original Ford materials before Bronco Hut was offering these. $590 is not a bad price considering the material is about $100 per yard.

Here is one we did in medium parchment/tan matchstick on medium parchment/tan which we ended up not using. We have silver matchstick on silver in our 66, silver matchstick on parchment on our 67.

The only pic I have handy showing any of the silver on parchment.

To have a high quality local shop make these and install them with new padding cost about $1500 each.
