Just thought I'd post some pics of a recent wheeling trip where we had a group of East Coast Broncos meet up with some California Broncos with a Texas Bronco brokering the deal!! Broncitis hauled out 3 East Coast Broncos from PA, I joined him in UT and we caravanned to Truckee, CA. We then met up with 4 California folks and ran the Rubicon and the upper part of Fordyce - the river was too high to cross. 4 days on the trails and 2 overnights! MEB, LEBC and SoCal Broncos were all represented.
The Rubicon was awesome and exceeded my expectations. I was expecting to be disappointed because of all the hype about the Rubicon but it did not disappoint! Fordyce was awesome as well - very technical. We then caravanned to Moab and wheeled there for a couple of days hitting Cliffhanger and Poison Spider. To top it off we then attended LEBC's week-long Lonestar Bronco Mountain Ride in Buena Vista CO where we ran Chinaman's, Holy Cross, Tincup and Grizzly Lake. It was an awesome 2 weeks of wheeling hitting some of the best known trails in CA, Moab and CO. Also we threw in a white water rafting trip on Brown's Canyon during the LBMR II event!
