Got engine in to fit everything. Put ford manifolds on that everyone said wouldn’t fit. They fit right in. Unless I’m missing something the look like they will work. Just FYI.

But the Manifolds do not interfere with the starter?

Which starter do you have?

The Powermaster 9132 starter fits great and is clockable, so you can rotate the Solenoid to any position you want. At the time, I purchased mine direct from Powermaster. Brand New model.

If anyone is looking for bolts I just picked some up from my ford dealer. I read they charge a lot so I never called. They had the cheapest bolts in town. Bolts for the bell housing to engine cost 1.15 a piece. I will post the part numbers once I make sure they fit. I also got the t case to trans bolts.

I am considering going with a new Mustang Coyote, all the Ford options ship with the mustang 6R80 transmission, is it similar to the F150 6R80?

You can google the part number and it will come up I think. Still haven’t made sure they are the right bolts but they look like they are. I will double check when I pull engine again.

I have done a Factory 5 with a DOHC 4.6L motor in the past. They have had great directions in the past with lots of pictures. I should have thought about looking there too. Great find1 Lot's of good info. The pictures really help.

I am planning on running the 6R80 automatic transmission, with column shift. Is there any additional fabrication to the tub needed for the transfer case shifters to go through?

Is there any additional welding needed on the frame? I am getting ready to take my frame to powder coat.

transmission cooler, where is the best place to put it? I saw on one of the posts someone bolted it under the bed. I just need to know what areas needed to be fabricated before I coat the bottom of the tub.

Many thanks!
