Carb issues

I recently noticed the bronco is smoking a lot more. It also has hard start ups when out. Never need choke even after sitting and it's cold. My garage smells super strongly of gas too. I really feel like the carb is leaking gas into cylinders when sitting and has messed with the oil too. If it's not float level, what else could it be? I rebuilt the carb months back. It's an auto lite 2100 on the stock 289.

A cracked power valve diaphragm can let fuel run into the engine. Also, it wouldn't be able to close off the power circuit under high vacuum.
