I now own a 2000 Explorer. I've been thinking about just going with Fitech system and Bauman transmission control. Has anybody ever gone this route instead of reprogramming and wiring?
if you want flexibility in your trans programming then that is the way to go, otherwise stick with the ford harness and ecm. let efi guy take care of the wiring and computer and you will be good to go.
What is the durability of this trans? Does anybody know if it will hold up in a crawler with 38" tires and 450hp? I am thinking about getting rid of my np435
