2005 Calendar - Cast your votes!

?? Dude, whats this all about? You have one of the nicest photos in this round. Why are you bumming about the voting? Hell if I submitted a photo and for some reason got a boat load of votes...so be it! ;D There is no shame in that. %) Go with the flow.

This one is my fault. I originally made a post with a comment about how I could not believe some of these photos had over 60 votes while others did not. Realizing how rude the comment was, I instantly edited it. Obviously not soon enough. I promise I meant no harm.

I absolutely love the majority of the photos and would like to make a calendar for myself and some friends with just those. I too, will buy the calendar that is voted upon, but it seems such a waste to not take advantage of this opportunity and make an additional calendars that suit ones own taste. I have done this before by using Micro$oft publisher and going through a friend at Kinko's to print them.

The calendar is fun and should continue to be so. Please don't let my rude comment put a dampner on this event.

No apology needed. You have your opinion and you have the right to express it but sometimes someones opinion can hurt a innocent person without even trying. I'm sure that NONE of the people with 60 votes is campaigning for them or buying them. There is no science to why people vote the way they do or how they do. I think this November will prove that ;D . I'm proud of my truck and every guy that submitted a photo is proud of theirs as well. All I was trying to say is that I'm not too proud to share a page or be seen with ANY other bronco, on this calendar OR in real life. There are some people that feel they are better than someone else or too good to be seen with so and so. I am not that way and I try not to hang out with people who act that way. Shoot, I've been seen hanging out with ricers :-*

I personally will be voting on picture quality, composition and the use of color...and I want large photos not a compilation of small a$$ pic..........you figure I have to look at that photo for a month. ;D

The answer is simple. It provides an outlet for the non-month featured Broncs and add to the calendars interest. There are 40 pics from which to choose, and 12 will be featured leaving 28.

I would suggest 2 options:

1) Take the remaining 28 and make a collage for the "front page"

2) Create a "new" month perhaps named "BRONCUARY" with 4 rows of 7 equally sized pics like a weekly arrangement.

Absolutely. I tried the same approach but there is much more than twelve photos that fit the bill. I did choose the same two photos you posted. Mostly because it shows the "what is" and "what can be" aspect of a Bronco.

Aside from that, they just look kick a$$.

Good point. We did that last year and it worked out well. The top 12 were on the months and the rest were on the back cover as a collage.

I'll probably do something similar this year. Whether it's the back cover or a separate sheet I don't know, but I'll try to get them all on there somehow. ;D

I want to thank everyone who voted for me, thank you.
The truck was a father son restoration project, and I would love to surprise him with a calendar if I made it in. Reguardless, there are some awesome pics and I had a hard time voting for the people I did. I went through the list and ended up wanting to vote for 20 people.

You could do 14 months up to febuary or even a 2 year calendar.

Thanks Jeepster. That picture was taken on one of the best days of my life. The Bronco had been on the road for about a week after a 4 year restoration. It came together right before the EBR 35 Anniversary event and I was honored by being asked to be up front in their group shot. When the group picture was over I cruised around and found that dirt road you see in the picture.

The more I look at that photo the more I like it. The dirt road, The little flag on the attenna flaping in the wind giving the feeling of life in the photo, The bright red in contrast to the brown scrub. The simpilicity of the photo goes with the simpilicity of the rig. This is the Bronco in its purest form.

I have many pictures of Terry's roadstar and plan to use one of them on the cover of my catalog, if I ever have one, with Terry's permission. It looks as good in person as it does in the picture.

Well I really do want to be in a calender to show the wife that my hours in the garage amount to something she can show her friends. If I don't make it this time I will be spending the next year looking at the 12 that beat me figuring out how to get a better picture! A diabolical plan is already forming in my head as I only have 41 votes now.

I also love the little streamer on the antenna of 66.
