I bought this a few years ago from a member on here, and sadly have not done anything to her. She was pulled from a hunting camp down by the bayou in Louisiana.
It's a real U13, that's in restorable condition, if you can get past the door and top. She's all there minus seats. The PTO winch is complete. Oh yeah, she's even got power steering! I wanted to post this thread before I left town to get drunk on turkey and gravy all weekend!

What do you think???

Just a head up :) I sent you a few messages and attempted to email you - someone offsite was interested in the mustard rig and looking for contact info.

That looks like Mad Max's EB

Thanks for the referral, I appreciate it. I have a friend that is probably going to buy it.

Say it ain't so............. Chris, do me a favor.. If those are the style rims that a baby moon hubcap will fit on, can you save me those rims? I think I could use those. I know you must have several sets of stock tires and rims you could throw on there.

Thanks, Scott

I started removing the old carpet in the rear and the rear bed is really clean. I don't see any rust in the wheel tubs or corners. I'm going to get the interior cleaned out and take pictures. She is cleaner than I thought.

Here is some of the history on this one. I found this in Kentwood, Louisiana ( yes, Britney Spears home town ). It had been sitting on the side of a house for almost 20yrs. I spotted it while there doing some work. House was abandoned. I went to the tax assessors office to see what I could find out. They said the assessment for that property was sent to an address in New Orleans. I was able to talk the lady into giving me the phone number. I contacted the people, and it was the daughter of the man who use to live in the house, and had passed away 15yrs ago. I negotiated a price, and then met them there 2 weeks later. I picked it up and drove straight to Chris's house in Nashville, a 25hr round trip. They used it at the hunting camp only. If I remember, the miles are actually pretty low. Her dad had the top and doors made. I think he might have been the original owner.

Is LA a state where you get taxed on your property like vehicles if so you might be able to research if he was original owner, but very cool story.

I have never tried to start it, the motor turns. I believe it's a "ran when parked" from the look of things and the story I got from BoureeOne, she might just fire up, but assume it doesn't because I cannot make any guarantees.

I thought I had a buyer, but the deal fell through. I'm posting some more pictures for the list to see. If you want more I'm happy to take them. She is sold with the original vin tag a clear title. The mileage shows 38K and I think it might be original, since the same owner had it since 1973. COOL!

I would think the mileage is right also. They said it was only used to drive out to the hunting camp, and that when it was not hunting season, it was parked. Plus it was sitting parked for the last 15 or 20 yrs.....
