For 145k, you could buy a nice, late-model dually, a comfortable 5th wheel toy-hauler, a nice Bronco for daily driving and good trail rig. And... still have money left over parts, fuel, and camping.

Not sure where you live, but most cities have a reputable auto-electric shop that rebuilds alternators and starters. Would be worth it to swing by and have them check your alternator.
