Spacers to adapt F-150 mirrors ?

I just picked up some breakaway mirrors (F-150 style) for my '69 Bronco. I mocked them up and they do not fit well with the contour of the doors. They need spacers to adapt the angles of the mirror mounts to the body panels for a clean look. Anybody know if someone sells the spacers or have...

    KUDOS to PowerTank

I'd like to throw out a good word for PowerTank. http://www.powertank.com/ I purchased a PowerTank directly from them for the upcoming Winter Fun Fest. The shipping company lost the package, found it, shipped it to the west coast, got it back, lost it again, and ultimately never delivered it...

Anybody have experience with 'Pull-Pal' ground anchor?

I am looking at doing more snow runs. Most of my friends are working, or have family so they can't go spontaneously. So I'm looking at a Pull-Pal for those solo runs to get me out. If anyone has experience with the Pull-Pal or the cheap Smittybuilt anchor please let me know.

    Owners of Trail Ready Beadlocks...opinions?

I am finally ready to spend on some beadlocks for running deep snow. Although I was interested in the Hutchinsons in 17", their backspacing (4.63") is too deep for stock radius arms and 35x 12.50's. Spacers are out of the question with my firebreathing 408. So Trail Ready's are at the top of...

Looking for rear frame horn measurements...

I have to rebuild the rear frame horns which are mangled and poorly repaired by P.O. If someone has the rear bumper off their Bronco, and their horns aren't mangled / altered, can you post a pic and some measurements. The measurements I have deduced so far, and if they can be confirmed Top...

    408 Engine Badge, Old TImey...

I'm looking for a engine badge, like the old timey ones that are for 408. I have found them in 289, 302, 351 & 347, but nix on the 408. I know there are plenty of 408 badges just not like the old stock design. Like this one attached but 408. Anyone know where to get some?

    A visit to the Mothership....WH

I made the 2 hour drive to visit the mothership today (Wild Horses) in Lodi, Ca. I wanted to give a shout out to the customer service at W.H.. Yesterday Justin from WH spent about 45 minutes on the phone with me, taking my order (A considerable number of expensive items), and answering my...

    Anyone running Hutchinson D.O.T. Beadlock 17x8.5 ??

Anyone running Hutchinson D.O.T. 17x8.5 Beadlocks on a Bronco? Is the 4.63" backspace too much for clearing the stock radius arms...

    408 stroker owners, more advice....

I received my engine yesterday. The Dyno tests recorded 425 HP & 500 Torque! For those that did their swap, did you replace the motor mounts or are did you keep stock? What aftermarket mounts did you switch? I plan on Centerforce clutch & flywheel. I am replacing the D20 output shaft with...

    ?'s for those running 408

My lovely wife told me to order the rest of the parts to get the new 408 into the Bronco. I'm looking for input on parts from those who actually have been running their 408 and accessories long enough to have an opinion. My 408 is about 425 HP & TQ, going into a D20 & NP435, 31 spline axles...

    Those running 17" wheels...

I'm looking at getting a set of winter tires / wheels. I am finding that most 17" wheels have a 4.5" backspace which is too deep for 12.50 wide tires. Anyone running 17" wheels with a 3.5 - 4" backspace? What have you got. I tried the search here but came up with everything but this question.

KUDOS to Wild Horses once again!

I would like to publicly thank James & Johnny from Wild Horses. The coupling for my TrailBanger shifter failed while I was out mudding on New Years. I was not the original purchaser of the shifter which was only 2 years old, however I had the receipt from the PO for the Trailbanger kit. I was a...

Building a motor, oil pressure requirements for extreme angles?

Finally getting the cash together to have a engine built. Going to be a 351 W Roller based, not sure on stroke yet. Power and torque from 1500 rpm - 4500 rpm. around 400-450 HP/TQ. This last hunting season I discovered my Edelbrock carb was insufficient on extreme angles (choked and died)...

    ARB Locker wiring, Why...

Just installed ARB plumbing and wiring. All working. Why does ARB suggest the diagram where you can only engage the front locker after you engage the rear? In 90% of the cases where you would engage the front lockers, you have already locked up the rear, BUT I can think of cases where you do...

    Problems persist on dash gauges...

I have had gauge problems for the past year. Sometimes they work, sometimes not. Will work for a week, a month, and then not work. I have replaced the gauge cluster regulator 3 times all with the same problems. I have replaced the sending units (temp and oil) 3 times thinking I had a bad part...

    Used up my luck today....

Finally getting everything buttoned back up on the engine. I had to remove the distributor a couple of days ago to access the manifold. I slipped the dizzy back into its spot and started it up to time it. I noticed NO oil pressure on dash gauge or mechanical gauge under the hood. Turn it off...

    T'ing off Coolant bung ?

I am installing an electric fan. (Please, NO debates on electric fans) I need a 3/8 " NPT orifice to install the heat sensor for the fan controller. There are no 3/8" NPT orifices in the radiator. The additional 3/8 NPT orifice in the Torquer II manifold was plugged with a brass fitting, the...
