I have this WildHorses$x4 shock mounts, and am just preparing to weld them on and thought I would ask.... Are this Rear Axle shock mount strong enough for Off road or Should I get stronger?

I have a pair of the MAX OUT Travel Shock Towers from Wild Horses and I am thinking might this work? Is it worth it to get this much more shock travel This is just a mockup. Body will be lifted more and the the wheel will sit a little more out. The wheel is now touching the bearing seat.

Is there any reason not to mount the Shocks on the Inside of the Long arms? The shock would be straight up and down and the Shock tower will have added support from the Coil spring bucket. Those are 1979 full width axles. Any negative effects I don't see. I am not known to be the smartest...

I just lifted the engine/AOD and transfer case in this seems too steep. I used old rubber in between. Question will a 7° reversed C bushing tackle this? I've read that some do. And should I be worried about the upper pinion bearing?

I just made a new bottom for the support under the Cowl. The bottom was rusted out. I cut it and welded a new bottom in place. The question is should I drill it from the bottom up in each corner, so I can get some Prolan or similar in there? What do you think?
