ID this part

So, I disassembled the brake pedal/ clutch pedal assembly on 77. Wire wheeled it and slapped some coats of paint on it. Was putting it back together and realized I misplaced this piece on the brake pedal. Any idea what it is and where I can find a replacement?

Stop light switch. Some call it a brake light switch. Any part store or the EB vendors.

Are you sure its not hanging on the harness under the dash?

If the switch or just the wires are flopping around you probably blew the fuse while you're at it
