Pic of my 66. In the middle of engine work at the moment. Still running original six. Putting in new tanks, carb, and got exhaust manifold off today. Last bolt...yep. Am sure that it has happened more than once to many. Took the head right off. Knew things were going too smooth. For another day...

thanks for the comments guys. I love this one. it has a 2.5" suspension and 1" body lift. the tires 15 x 9.5 x 33". wheels 15"
I am debating whether to go to 16 or 17" wheels but for some reason I like the look with the current wheels. Eventually I will upgrade.

Looking great. Where'd you find that tire size. Perusing the web, I can't find many options of that size.

Crazy Canuck, what is that paint color? Nice truck. Makes me want to build another one.

THanks Keith, I'm not sure the actual name of the paint code but like a mineral grey but not a dark the PO had it done. A few more touches and she'll be done.... hahah right

I just mounted up a set of 265x70x17's on some dodge steel wheels for mine. Pics are at Doghows LUBR build thread. They fit perfect and I'm running a 2.5SL and a 1"BL.

Anyone running 235/85r16? That's what I want to go with, the guys at TBP say I can get by with 2.5" SL and 1" BL. Thoughts?
How wide is the wheel? They will be narrow enough to clear but they will most likely be tucked a bit under the fender

I just got my 265/75/16 BFG KO2's mounted up on Black Rock Yuma's that are 16x8's. 3.5" SL 1" BL but 3 leafs are out of the back right now. No cage in it yet. Once that's in Ill see if I need the extra inch or so of clearance

You should only need the 2.5" with aftermarket 6" or 7" wheels or factory steels. You might even just need the 1" BL if your running narrow 16" wheels. 235 is a very narrow tire so there shouldn't be an issue. If your set on the tire/wheel combo you should purchase them before the lift. Mount them and see what you need in terms of lift.
