WEB PAGE: 1974 Bronco Ranger
FEATURES: Where do I start? Dropped the front end and put on power disc brakes, 3.5" lift coil springs, dual shock mounts, drop down sway bar(?) bracket, dropped pittman arm, new shocks and stainless extended brake line. 11 leaf springs and dual shock mounts for the rear and extended stainless brake line. Electronic drop down steps from Sidewinder on both driver and passenger doors - also modified with a kill switch in case I was up on something when playing in the mud. 302 with a rebuilt carb and headers with new exhaust. Warn hubs. Stripped down and repainted from the Carolina blue to the dark blue inside and out. All new weather stripping. Installed sound proofing through out from Dynamat and Acoustic Technologies - this helped with the road noise. Installed new carpet and sound proofed side panels over the wheel wells. Tuffy lock box with Clarion 45x4 stereo and 6 disc CD changer. Also put in a small fan to keep it cool. 6 Infinity speakers - woofer and tweeter in each door, same in the rear along with sound proofing. New windshield, diamond plate on tailgate and steps on doors. Corebeau bucket seats with Simpson racing seat belts, professionally re-upholstered rear seat, grant steering wheel and new head liner. Duff pre-runner bumpers front and rear. Transmission needed to be rebuilt and installed a new driveshaft, U-joints and CVJ. Whats next? Rebuilt 302, full family roll cage, ceramic coated headers, 33" tires instead of the 31's and maybe new rims. And yes - I do take it in the mud - just no shots of it in it..yet.
