Anybody running the dual return setup from wildhorses mounted to the bracket they sell? I am working on doing this swap from a stock setup. I would appreciate any pictures you guys have of the setup installed. I feel like I may have the pump mounted on the bracket incorrectly.

I feel like the pump shouldn’t be touching the bracket where the picture is circled in red

Yep, should not be touching. Nothing a little grinder can't handle. I have learned that we no longer have true "direct bolt on" parts anymore. So I always factor that in.
I had the LARS pump bracket and modified it for the dual return

What they said. I modified my single return pump bracket. Looks to be installed correctly.

Do your pulleys line up? If your pulleys don't line up, you can space (spacers) the pump back if needed. Just a thought and that would take care of your 'touch' problem too.

Just an add on to this, the pulley can be pulled off the shaft slightly 1/8 - 3/16 to give more room to space the pump back and still have the pulleys line up. It will run fine with the pulley not pressed fully on.

Yours is mounted correct. Here's some pics of this set up installed in a 76 Bronco. As you can see we did not clearance the bracket but you could. We may just remove the small tab altogether on the next batch. The pulleys will line up on any Bronco 289/302 with washers or spacer between the bracket and the head. Pump uses outside belt as shown.

X2. You can dial in your belt alignment with washers.

I think I am going to use some washers to gain the space I need in between the bracket and pump. It will help with my belt alignment too.
