Looking for a WQ code 1969 Pontiac 400 engine. I know this is the wrong site for this but need to find one as quick as possible so what could it hurt to throw up a post

WQ is 335 horsepower. Maybe firebird 400?

Yes, here's the short version my family has a 69 ram air III trans am that had a ram air IV engine swapped in in the late 70s. We just located the original engine that came out of the car but the guy doesn't want to sell it because he is restoring a trans am that needs an engine.

So if we can locate another wq 400 block with around March/April build date before he puts our engine in his car there's a chance we can make a deal to get ahold of it
