Toploader JD Shifter Install Help

Having some trouble with Duff 4spd toploader shift rods--> interference with the end of the reverse rod and 1/2 shift rod button seems to be the problem.

Also looking for help with the size of the cutout in the floor- has anyone installed with a 3" body lift.

I had to do some bending of the rods to make them clear each other.

just looking at the pic tells me the rods need to be tweeked a little. The straighter you get the ends of the rods in relation to the shift levers on the trans and shifter the better it will shift try to get them so they enter the shift levers at 90 degrees and not angled as they are now.
