I'm thinking of removing and replacing the stock oil-bath air cleaner and assembly on my 1970 302 with a standard air filter. Is there any benefit to doing this other than a bit more room in the engine compartment? Thanks.

They do work well. If you decide to change, keep it. Never know when someone will want it. I just gave one to another member for his 6 cyl.

If MT. Saint Helen irrupts again or another volcano irrupts you will need it....When Mt.Saint Helen irrupted the oil bath air breather motors where the only thing running:cool:
