Single Stage or Base Coat/Clear Coat

For all you paint and body men, Do you have a preference of which way to go on the old broncos? What are the pros and cons for each?
Thank You for any advice as it's almost time for some color.

It all depends on what you want. I prefer base/clear coat over single stage but on a beater or off road truck I would use single stage. If spraying a metalic paint then base/clear might be more forgiving or easier to spray. The b/c would be easier to fixs runs in the clear coat and if you get runs in the base you are doing it all wrong. runs in single stage metalic is no good period, sand and repaint. I myself find b/c easier to paint and rework if needed.
