FWIW,
I would not do it again, I have 5.5 SL with 1" BL. If I could reset the clock I would do 3.5 SL with 1" BL. Keep in mind I have not driven mine yet, I just do not like how tall it is. I am hoping with some more weight added on it will set down an inch or more. Look at my signature for pictures.

Here is mine. It is from 5" to 5.5" spring lift with no body lift. First 3 pics are with worn out 35's and the next 3 with 36" IROKs.

This is the first time I've heard of full width axles. There's no tech article on them, how complicated and expensive is the swap?
