I've been getting a lot of help getting my fresh air/air cleaner assembly up to best practices. I've been trying to find a replacement (D0AZ-9D692-B) but not seeing much online. I've found some K&N vent tubes that could work but seem a bit pricey for what the piece actually does. Could I just go to a hardware store and find a threaded elbow like the one below (that fits the right tubing) and use a gasket/RTV to get a tight fit?

K&N Part: https://www.autozone.com/intake-sys...nt-kit/374106_0_0?searchText=air+cleaner+vent

Other K&N Part: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/knn-85-1120?rrec=true

HomeDepot Alternative: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbil...-Nylon-Elbow-Adapter-Fitting-800299/300862698

Thanks!

Is this going back to a stock air cleaner?
If so, most auto parts store should probably still have the correct plastic fitting and filter element.
Plastic thingy we’ve shown pictures of here before.
Do you have a picture of the Ford part that you posted above?
