• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Hey fellas- Any way to confirm this is a real Baja? The ad provides the Vin #U15GLH50000. Would that give clues? The ad also claims the color is 'candle apple red". If it were authentic, wouldn't the color be proudly claimed as Poppy Red? Also, $50,000 would seem a bit undervalued if the rig is indeed a pristine Baja? Skeptical...On a minor note, I joined Classic Broncos back on 5-12/2012. Feeling pretty "oldie" to be a "newbie"...

It's a "Tribute" truck, not the real McCoy...it's in the description. I can see how you could overlook that cause it's subtle

Aha! Me sees that now (still had to look pretty hard to find). Subtle? I reckon. Dayam, if I was going to buy a tribute/fake, it would be a Cobra...At least they call it a kit. IDK, not sure I could stand every time someone said 'Oh wow, you own a Baja" I would have to say- "No, its a wannabe..."LOL Thanks TN, ya shined the light jest right...BB

Funny how they spend more effort to describe Bill Stroppe's history than they do to describe the Bronc....which is the wrong year

Like any good magic trick they get you looking in the wrong place with all the extra emphasis on what they want you to see.

It funny that someone would spend a fair amount of money updating the truck and not replace little things like the crusty dashboard bezels.

some folks only interested in flipppin….

This presentation uses Stroppes name for a build (first sentence)...he didn't build.
When these ads include the history of someone involved with racing or building, they are trying to get the unsuspecting sap to get interested.
Car salesmen, "shifty eyes and bad shoes".

Hence my reaction to TNcowboy, when pointing out the "tribute" description and calling it "subtle"...I think TN was being very nice...lol I think the shifty eyes & bad shoes analogy fits better... As I said before, when it comes to the early Broncos, all 'representations' seem to be whatever the market will believe...NOTE: When it comes to the Stroppe Baja Broncos, IMO they are the Holy Grail of EB's and the name and history should not to be misused, faked or even honorably duplicated. But hey, that's just me...B
