Have you already torn the old EFI off of the engine? If not, I could take a look at the datalog and see if I see anything... Pro-Flow should not give you anything the original EFI could not.

Yea. It’s all buttoned back up. Picking up the freshly recoated headers today. I’ve decided to go with 11229 magnaflow straight through mufflers. I’m not looking for any more performance out of the EFI, just hoping to eliminate teenage gremlins that keep popping up and ease of communicating with. I also really like the variable throttle linkage assembly compared to the nearly straight pull that Ford uses. This motor was put together over 12 years ago and ran hard for 6000 miles. I’ve been wanting to tear it down for the past three or four years, Just to inspect everything. As you all know, one thing leads to another 😂 Here’s a few pics of the progress

Cleaned up the steering shaft while I was at it. The jamb nuts were completely loose and spread the yolk, so I drilled and through bolted with pinch nuts. Also replaced the tiny button head Allen screws holding the caps on with a little bigger stainless button head and lock tighted. They barely caught the cap allowing it to walk out. Might check out yours if you are running the same type

One thing lead to another, but we were finally able to fire up the new set up. Edelbrock customer service has been great. For some reason, both kits that chad has installed came with bad fuel pressure sending units. One was cross threaded, and the other didn’t read correctly. Edelbrock was quick to send out replacement parts no questions asked.
Here’s a cold start with base maps before tuning. Can’t wait to road test!
Not sure if link will work but.....

Sounds sweet!!!! You got to be a happy man!!!;D;D;D

I’m hoping it runs out as good as it idles. That was my main goal, getting it to run smooth through the curve, though I should pick up a little grunt after seeing the port work on the heads. Still need to re-do the exhaust, but wanted to be able to compare the chambered Spintechs to the free flowing magnaflows. I love the sound of the chambered and not too concerned with power gains. Hopefully get a break in the weather to do a little live tune this week. Then spend a little time cleaning up the loose wires and put things back together. Can’t thank Chad enough for taking on the project. It’s always fun working with people with the same passion.

Post some 2020 videos of the bronco when you get it back out on the road. Would love to see it ripping down the street or up a hill climb like back in 2007-2008 on youtube! We need some better stroker bronco videos, I've watched every one of them more times than I can count. Need some new content for extra motivation

You got it! I’m going to try to get down to Sandlake (where the sand videos were shot) this weekend! I haven’t even driven it thanks to my 18yo taking it to work every day! I might have to go steal it and take it for a JOYRIDE and leave him with the ‘77.......or better yet the ‘70. Poor kids having to live my dream :)
I’m going to put out a memo and try to get a small group together now that you got me going!!
