• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Hi Gents-

The time may be approaching where I need to make room in the garage for more toys ;D and I’m considering selling the Bronco. I’m trying to figure out what the heck this thing is worth, prices seem to be all over the place. Any suggestions on how I can get a decent value on this rig?

It’s a 73 and it drives amazing. The 351W was a semi recent rebuild and fires up quick every time no matter how long it sits. Drives straight and solid at 75mph. Body is solid, no rust that I’m aware of. It’s been in California for as long as I’ve known, and PO was a CA resident. It does have a sprayed bedliner, so I can’t comment as to what’s underneath, but under the truck, the metal looks perfect.

Some of the things I’ve done or know that have been done...
3.5” WH lift w/ bilstein shocks
upgraded steering
serpentine setup
upgraded 23 gal fuel tank
electric seats!
upgraded wire harness
stereo
35” tires, 17” wheels, 4.56 gears
Transmission is a manual 4 speed, 4th is OD. I believe it’s a T170. It’s not a super common one in broncos, but shifts fantastic and is super fun to drive.

I’m sure there’s more... but I can’t think of anything at the moment. I’d love any input! Thanks!!

This is a very nice Bronco.

If you are willing to spend a little time, you should put it on Bring A Trailer (Just Google it). It will cost only $100. You will get a good price. Probably in the high 30s or 40s.

Or advertise it here in the high $40s.

No problem.

I'd love to buy it, but it will be out of my price range. I'm looking for a fixer. Good luck. Keep us informed on how it goes.

I know two guys that are hating me right now. LOL

If you do come up with a price, post it or contact me. I have a buddy that is legitimately looking to purchase. He has myself and a few other buddies actively looking.

Sorry fellas- went on vacation and haven’t been diving into this much. Price will be above 40k with the info I’ve gathered so far from local guys checking it out. I’m still not much closer to listing yet, I’ve got a lot going on. I love the idea of listing on “bring a trailer”, I just need to see if that limits my market or if it expands it. Might try the traditional route first and list here / Craigslist / etc.

Doesn’t come with a top! And currently setup as a pavement crusher. I only did the gears in the rear... so 2WD at the moment. I’d say those are the two biggest downsides. This is a super solid bronco. I will update for sure.
