So John ( 72_EB ) had a few of us 66to77.com crew over for a food, beer and bullshit session. Here are some photos ( Kurt ) Kurt Millard's son Zac took of my truck.
Definitely a different feel. Took some getting used to but feels real safe and tight aside from some body roll issues I'm working on......the rig tracks straight with a light hand on the wheel. It's easy to oversteer since its hydraulically connected. You don't have that feeling that you are connected to the road. The wheel tends to drift and there really isn't a center on the steering wheel as it drifts from the orbital valves pressure, but with that said, it still tracks straight. I guess what I'm saying is that the steering wheel never has an exact place it comes back to, but the ram does. Does that make sense? I've only taken it to about 45 MPH so far. It's drivable. As far as legality :-X Don't know, ain't been pulled over yet. Wouldn't take it on a long high speed ride at this point just yet....maybe never will.
