here is a nice simple project that we just completed. story behind the truck:
originally owner was grandpa, he passed it along to son, and now grandson is getting his turn with it.
71, rebuilt 302,4:10, no frills. had power brakes added, had been repainted a number of years ago. has been garage kept a good part of it's life.

came in for:
2 1/2" suspension package. coils, leafs, bilsteins, bushings...
auto conversion- c4 & t/c rebuild
power steering conversion
disc brakes for front
33x9.5 15 bfg's
soft top
bright work trim package
full window felt kits
interior make over:

family cage with 3 point belts front & rear
stereo package. kenwood head unit, polk audio speakers, ipod hook up....
mastercraft seats for front
dash redo
tuffy
steering wheel
tinted windows

exterior received complete detail to bring it back to life.
it's a nice little cruiser that the young man is now enjoying. Christmas came a little early for him. it's pretty neat to see the family beam with him driving it now. he remembers his grandpa driving it when he was a little guy...

You have the best job ever!! You hiring?

Lucky kid. Not only have his Grandpa's old EB, but also an artist such as yourself to rework it for him.

Great job!

thanks folks for the kudos. i appreciate the support.

the soft top is one of the new Speedy Trac models. they will put that on in the spring once it warms up.

the paint was ok when it came in, it really needed to be compounded. i don't think the acrylic enamel job had ever even been waxed when it was repainted say 10 yrs ago. the detailer brought it back to life.
the truck is in very solid shape, but i wouldn't call it rust free. there are a few minor spots. it is by far the most solid i've had through the shop, but i still firmly believe they where rusting coming down the assembly line.
