Liftgate hinge nuts

I'm putting my hard top back together after several years in peices and I can't remember all the details. What nuts are supposed to be used for mounting the liftgate hinges to the hard top? I have these wavy metal plates that I know go on the inside of the hard top. It almost looks like you're supposed to use body clip nuts on the wavy plates. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

Just for some of the more newbys... Those kinds of clip nuts & wave nut can be bought . Not to hard to get. I sold them at my parts store .. Seems like Dorman had them & Several more . & Today Fastnal should be able to get them.
