So I am starting this thread to keep me motivated to finish my project. Hopefully it will not take me years to finish. I may have some questions on the way.

'68 ford bronco restore

Now I need to figure out how to redo the inner fenders wells.

Welcome! You'll need to patch or replace your driver's side kick panel so you can attach a new apron to it. I basically took the whole front off, welded all the new pieces together, and put it back on as one piece. MEASURE MEASURE MEASURE.

There is a few things I have found that will need to be replaced. Is there any certain order I need to do these in. When you advise to measure. What am I looking at to measure, so hopefully I don't screw this up. This is my first time rebuilding a vehicle. The one thing that has me worried is screwing something up and having to trash the hole thing.

Thanks ahead of time

I say tape it back together and drive it. I have driven worse Flintsone vehicles. Get rid of that air cleaner if you do. They erupt in flames quite easily if sparkback.

My suggestion is to read a number of threads on people restoring theirs. You'll learn A LOT that will prevent you from making the same mistakes other have. It also looks like your passenger side kick panel needs a patch or replacement. Weld up or bolt a brace between your rear door openings and your cowl. That will prevent the front from bending forward when you take the core support off. I'm too busy now to locate all the stuff you might need, but I would check your body bushings to make sure they're not too compressed, then do all your work while the body is on the frame. Use screws to hold pieces in place so you can check everything before you weld.

I used hundreds of these

The most important part of the whole build is your kids working with you, cherish that time because it goes away. If you can get it running and drive-able - that provides the motivation you need on the next phases. Don't let perfect get in the way of progress.

Check body mounts and condition, thats what can mess you up in alignment later on discovering you welded it together and aligned it with faulty mounts.

Good luck and keep everyone involved, I wish you luck as you are going far deeper down a rabbit hole than I would:)

Go to a car show, see the others people have, that always gives me motivation. Do little projects that you can actually get done. Don't go over board with ripping it apart at one time. But also don't be afraid of taking a break. If you put too much time in and don't get results it can ruin the fun. Find someone with a bronco and ask them for a ride, that will make you want to work on it for sure! And its great if your kids are interested, (dad when can we go for a ride?) is a good motivator!
