I have a '73 that has the original paint that is supposed to be "Medium Copper Metallic" - anybody got a picture of this color? Am going to have the bottom half repainted (has a few chips here and there) and I am looking for the name and paint code. Any help would be helpful. Tks. wwgx90

I always thought my 1973 color was Infantry Blue. Did that name exist or was that from the later big Broncos? It looks like the Skyview Blue you posted.

These came from the above site under Ford Truck.

Hope these help someone. I am in the middle of the enormous decision of which color to marry.

Calypso Coral

Post #8 is a pic I took of a friends rig with original paint and the Special Decor Group package stripe when we patterned the reproduction stripes we make off his rig. That is not Calypso Coral. It is a 77, and that color was not offered that year.

The only orange listed in the 77 sales brochure is Vista Orange.

I'm afraid this thread will be lost if we don't get a sticky on this one. Or, maybe we can put the info in the FAQ or Tech section.

Bahama Blue - Need new uncut pic

Sorry Hammer, my EB is painted the GM Bahama blue. Doesn't look the same as the others named Bahama that Ford used.

Both are nice blues but GM's uses a lot of mettalic and seems to be darker.?:?

I will be repainting to another color in the future, so thanks for starting this!
