Love it. Clutch is great too! Thanks for all the pics and email!Way to go, Joe! How's that M5OD?
A pic of yours from round-upBetter hustle, Joe, roundup's this week..........%)
BTW, nice job, looks awesome!
Joe, looks good. I am complete but still trying to come up with a latch and possibly a pin that will drop in when open so the arm stays put and does not keep swinging. It's functional but by no means pretty! No paint and there are a few welds that could use a cleanup. It will be at roundup tomorrow to possibly meet a spare tire thanks to Tasker and slednut!! Open to suggestions on improvements since it's not painted yet.
Also getting up early to add trailer hitch in rear for recovery point...
Any suggestions for quick and easy front recovery point?

When I get I chance I'll post more close up pics but I extended the arm mostly because I was working with 4 ft pieces and one of my other goals was to use the carrier to help hide the gap created by a 1" body lift. Art's (slednut)latch I like better than what I did and may mimic later. On mine I added a piece of 2.5 square at end to allow bolting. Art just welded directly to the 2x2. I welded a piece of 1" square for the catch assembly and back cut the 2x2 by 1 1/4 to keep it from running into the body. I may cut off my spindle and raise it slightly so I can latch between the bumper and swingarm as art had on his. Either way I'm cutting off the ugly extension on the end of mine. I was rushing to get to roundup and didn't think it through well.Joe, looks good. I am complete but still trying to come up with a latch and possibly a pin that will drop in when open so the arm stays put and does not keep swinging.
Can you put up some close ups on your latch? It looks like you extended the arm a bit past the original swing arm design. Was that to mount the latch?
Thx,
Chris
