Oh yeah, I really like what you did with the speedo and the original style of font for the numbers and lettering. Looks like it will really blend in nicely and look like it came in the Bronco from the get go. Having said that, I have only one change that I would possibly make to it and this all depends on how it ends up looking in the end. The RPM Numbers get a bit LOST in the Silver ring around the speedometer arm and I was wondering if you could possibly maybe make the silver ring around the speedo arm a bit smaller so that the RPM numbers are not lost in the silver bezel. Even the way that it is I think it is a home run for the cluster. However, I think it could be even nicer if you could possibly give the Tachometer their own space where they will stand out and not possibly look like an afterthought. Hopefully that makes sense but I still really like the looks of the cluster. ;D

Thanks for your support Broncitis

Thanks for the input on the speedo, I will take that those changes into consideration. We only have limited space to work with, not much can move around in there. I like were you're going tho and we'll see what we can do!

Maybe an arc of black where the tach is?
So that it would be all one color.

Here is the final print out for the new speedo. We were able to make the tach numbers more visible. We are just waiting on Dakota to get in the new luminous orange needles. They said mid December and we should have our first one.

Started working on the rear, out comes the old... Later comes the new!

Been about a month since the last post, a few set backs happened. One being robbed and all my tools being stolen. So, I finally quit moping and bought another grinder. Here are some updates

I ended up using the spooky discount from ruff stuff and bought some brackets . I got rid of the older upper frame brackets and made new ones with ruffstuff tabs.

Played around with the tig welder .

Front 4link is fully welded and finally done, all that's left to do is weld the upper frame brackets (they seem a little close to the lower links for my liking) and then it's time to start on the rear mock up.

I've been meaning to check out this thread for awhile, glad I finally did. Very impressive man, this thing looks to be (or will be) bulletproof!

I ended up putting some work in today, I also caught on fire .. Lol, welding upside down without a leather welding jacket is rough (I was fine, just the jacket caught a little) I ended up placing a sheet of aluminum over my stomach to prevent it from happening again, I think it paid off though. I removed the driver upper frame bracket and moved it over a tiny bit, clearance is a lot better for the lower link in my eyes. With that I finished welding up all 4 upper frame brackets.
David got his new Toyo tires in today, I was able to steal a couple for a pic or two. They look great!!

Ha, I did the same thing, only I was under the kitchen sink sweating a pipe when the connector on the propane bottle leaked sending flames down the bottle and catching my hair on fire. Luckily, I got it out before I burned my scalp. Wife made me call a plumber.
