Thanks Pat! Glad you like how things are lookin. ;D

Got some needed parts from the Brown Santa today and more are on the way. Hopefully this weekend if the stars align I will be able to get it up and running again.

Waiting to get the condenser, drier and hose kit from the hot rod shop that I have been dealing with. Should be here by friday for the weekend wrenchathon. Still need to order a distributor and gauge to get the rest of the needed items to get her running this weekend.

Gonna make it happen though! ;D

Got some more stuff done over the past couple days. Not as fast as I want, but stuff is getting done and that is what counts. ;D Should be running again in the next couple of days.

Here is some of what is goin on lately:

-Painted the Throttle boddy and IAB sensor. Looks so much better now.
-Painted the heater tubes from the 91 Mustang engine that run along the top of the manifold on the passenger side. Happy with how they look as well.
-Finally got the pintle caps for the injectors so I was able to get those finished up.
-Installed the fuel rail with the injectors for good.
-Installed the heater tubes on the passenger side of the manifold as well.

Here are some pics for those interested.

Oh yeah, started filling all the unused holes on the firewall. Looks a little crappy now but that is part of the process. ;D It will get fixed this coming week when the weather gets a little better.

Will finish filling in the holes today and hopefully start getting the wiring harness installed on the motor. Waiting on the Brown Santa to bring my goodies from Summit.

Some pics of the firewall after filling some of the holes. Happy with how it is coming along and a little Bondo and you will never know the holes ever existed.

Part of the plan for tommorrow is to run the heater hoses through the firewall to the evaporator. Instead of going with the bulkhead plate like most of the A/C kits that are available use I will be using these bulkhead fittings instead. Will be a little bit trickier to install in terms of keeping everything straight but I like the flexibility that they provide in terms of placement.

Wow I can't believe how that throttle body looks now, what paint is that your using? and what heater tube is that. Work your doing looks good and I think you must have picked it up a step or two with this nice weather fast approaching.

Looking good! The TB and IAB turne out great, glad to see they can be made to look good (I have to do mine when I get to that point). The alternator comes apart pretty easy if you were thinking of cleaning it up. a couple paper clips to retain the brushes (if the 4g has them) and it will go back together. I saw in one of the stores you can get a rebuild kit, new internal regulator, brushes and bearings for them... just sayin;)

Ask Herman, I have a way of encouraging more work..LOL

You cowl raise has turned out awesome, I am going to do the same to mine and can't hardly wait to get started BUT today I am going to help a buddy get his Stroppe cleaned up and ready for the show in townsend and drool over his collection... least it is nice enough out that the Harley is getting drug out of its hibernation today!

Pat, the heater hose tubes are off the Mustang engine that I bought. However, I would not be suprised if they were used on most of the 5.0 Fords from the 90's. That particular one came off a 91 engine.

Englewood, yeah the alternator looks like crap! Might have to take it apart like you mentioned. Can't be that hard. LOL! %) Besides if anything goes wrong I can thank you for the motivation. LOL. I will give it a shot once it is up and running.

Didn't get much done on the truck yesterday! Took a trip with Herman down to Philly and had a great day overall. Unfortunately had some minor problems on the way back. Gumby threw up all over Tasker! LOL!!!

Hopefully will get some more done today! Getting a later start than I wanted but anytime is good time. ;D

Well, just got back from working on the bronco and not much in the way of updates. Got the other heater hose that I needed and also started prepping to reinstall the oil pan. I will that that has got to be one of the biggest pains in the ARSE that I have ever done. :(

Hopefully I can make more progress tomorrow after work.

Also mistakenly forgot to order my condenser. :( So firing up the engine will have to wait till that arrives this week from the Sachse Rod Shop and I can mock it up and see what has to be done to get it mounted.

On the bright side I got all my stuff from Summit for the fuel feed and return lines, the fuel pressure gauge and all the little parts in between. ;D

Will post some pics of the goodies tomorrow.

Sorry that I have not posted some pics of the stuff to be installed for those interested but have been busy and not alot of time. Anyway, been trying to figure out how to route the hoses for the heater and A/C through the firewall. Think that I have finally figured out how to run the lines. This is how they are getting run no matter what! ;D

Getting the heater hoses crimped like A/C lines. Personally, I hate clamps and the crimped lines look soooo much better in my opinion. ;D

Here are a couple of pics of the mocked up heater lines coming off the back of the manifold pipes. Should look nice and clean when done.

You finally committed to a location! Looks good man

Yeah right, LOL!!!! ;D Wasn't easy figuring out how to get all the hoses to go where they needed to go in the limited space I have. This should work though. Didn't want to drill holes and make a mistake. Thankfully I didn't! ;D

Here is a pic of the Heater control valve mounted under the dash and not the engine compartment. The welds don't look the prettiest but nobody will ever see them so works for me.

Inquired about them ever leaking and they told me they have not had a problem with that so we will see. With my luck, I will have the one that leaks. LOL!!!

Here are some other parts that will be used to complete the EFI conversion! Brown Santa came and this is what he brought from Summit. ;D

However, a little bit upset with Summit and they will hear from me tomorrow about it. Looks like the Fuel pressure gauge was previously opened/returned. The instructions that are usually in the bottom along with any needed fittings are missing from the package. Not happy about that at all.

Went with Mallory High pressure external pump.
Summit twist lock AN fittings for the fuel lines. Hopefully no leaks!
A new TFI dizzy from Summit.
Autometer Cobalt Fuel Pressure gauge. Previously opened. :(

Gonna get started on installing this stuff tomorrow hopefully.

For those that are interested, got the fuel pump mounted today. Not alot of progress but rolling around underneath the truck drilling and tapping 4 holes is not really all that easy and not something that goes quickly. %) As a matter of fact it was a pain in the ARSE! LOL.

Also removed the BC Broncos fuel line kit that I installed previously. Hopefully I can maybe use it on another truck or something.

Here is a pic of the pump mounted to the crossmember in front of the fuel tank. Hopefully it will be safe there. ;D

Thanks Tasker!

Anyway, drove around to return/exchange a bunch of crap today. Took longer than I thought it would so started wrenching around 5 ish. Was able to get both the pressure side and return side for the fuel lines installed. Once I was done with that I started to attempt to mock up the rest of the hoses for the Vintage Air Gen IV and it kicked me like a MULE! LOL! ;D

Due to some screwups, I have to get one of the hoses redone and the last A/C hose was not very cooperative either. In any case I should hopefully get the evaporator mounted for good under the dash this week. God willing, the A/C lines in the engine compartment should go alot easier.

Here are some pics of the plumbing for the fuel pump.

No pics to show but started the bodywork/painting of the firewall and cowl! Sure would be nice if there were no engine to work around but that is not gonna change so will just do the best I can under the circumstances.

Hopefully the body work will come out ok considering I have absolutely no prior experience. LOL! ;D Can't waid to get it finished and start putting things back together.
