I'll plan on taking my welder and bottle, and a bunch of spare parts to trade, sell and give away.. Maybe I'll take my electrical stuff too to help people with electrical issues... El Jefe, this is how I have my cage bolted to my windshield frame... In my opinion heim joints at both end are the only way to go so it can move and flex.. I've got a new spare set of heim joints that might work for you that you can have. A run to ace hardware for the right length coupler and a couple welded tabs on your cage and you'll be set !

El Jefe these are yours free bro if you want them. Buy a couple couplers for a buck or two at ace and you've got the best cage frame connectors you can possibly get

Since it's powder coated maybe just buy two roll bar clamps and mount the braces to them instead of welding on tabs... Check out this picture to get an idea what I mean

We are still a go for October 7 even though it shows 90+ temps. Should be nice until about noon. Lets get a head count by the end of this weekend and Ill post it up Monday/Tuesday

Anyone ever changed out wheel studs? Some of mine are really boogered up and it would be nice to replace them all

How do you post pics on here? I was going to post a pic of my windshield braces. Used a $3 turnbuckle from Ace and drilled a hole it the roll bar and bolted it on. That might work to since you have it powder coated.

It's still looking good for me bro, unless my work screws that up lol.. I've done wheel studs. Just take the hubs off, pound out the old ones and pound in new ones. If you've got a press you can press them in, but a hammer works just as good.... Some people pull them in with the lug nuts, but I wouldn't recommend that

Everyone interested in coming, send me a PM or email through the site with your cell phone # or email address. I will send you the address of the garage. What time works for everyone? 7:30 to 8AM?

You can become a contributor for $12 and upload through the site or just use a website like mediafire or imgur and then post the links here

I just got some 3 point seat belt bungs to weld into the cage so Im gonna have to mod the cage anyways. Only problem is the seats aren't done and I didnt take measurements or order belts yet so that may wait

Easy enough, need to make a trip to OReilly to grab some new ones. I have the Chevy disc conversion up front and the stock drums out back if that matters

I have a 20 ton press but doesn't like to stay centered as I learned when doing bushings on my old Cobra.

The garage is in northeast Tucson

I'm still planning on making over. Just not sure I'll bring a bronco this go around. While I have many projects to get done on my broncos I'm nowhere near ready to do the work. I need to buckle down and get a engine built. I think this wrench part may help motivate me.
Looking forward to meeting some more bronco brothers.
Your press should work fine for wheel studs not so far of a press and more stable than bushings.

I'll probably bring some intermitant wiper conversions that plug into the stock wire harness and a couple of sets of Cherokee wiper arms for sale trade or what not. I'll have to see if theres anything else I may have that I want to part with.

I'll be with you in spirit.

We just put in an offer on a house last night off the Catalina Hwy. Looking forward to retirement there in March. One more Portland winter.

That sounds fun for sure. You sell your yellow terminator?
Don't know how I missed this post. Yes I sold the Cobra in February 2015 and it went to Vegas. That guy sold it to another guy in 2016 and he completely gutted the car and turned it into a dragster. 800+ HP through a TH400, solid axle, caged interior, parachute, etc. Was running 9s last I heard but he sold it to another guy in Vegas about 6 months ago haha

I then bought a 2014 SRT Jeep and got bored of that in about 8 months and then bought the Hellcat last November

I've heard back from 7 people(4 or 5 Broncos) at this point. Just messaged 4 more from this topic who were interested in coming. Going food shopping tomorrow night, any special requests?

Let me know!

Its sounding like we will have between 8 and 11 Bronco owners showing up and at least 5 or 6 Broncos.

Bring any parts you want to sell/trade as well as any projects you want to get done. Tall jack stands, welder/torch, scrap metal, timing light and auto body hammers are some of the things we would find useful. We have a lift that probably won't be used for my Bronco so we can do fluid changes on anyone elses. OReilly just down the road at Catalina Hwy if you want to stop on the way in for fluid/filters

BBQ at 11:30!
