lookin good Howard, as far as the latch goes, you can still use the factory hood latch just bolt the piece back to the core support and then get an inside hood release for it ( you may have to bolt or weld that beacket back to the top of the grill for support though, IDK?). easy peasy

Bit by tiny (good golly, sometimes those tiny bits are closer to miniscule) I'm getting closer. I'm finding the biggest hassle is the HUGE amount my desired outcome exceeds my paltry but growing slowly skill set.

What fun would it be if it didn't exceed your skillset. Plus you don't know your skillset untill your finished. Your skillset will expand to your needs. Just don't settle until you get what you want.

Progress in primer and paint. Tomorrow I hope to mock up the bling and the H4 headlights and the GT fog lights and fenders and hood to get a better idea of whether or not I should do this.........

I could never be a doctor 'cause I just don't have the patience. Couldn't wait any longer to get a peek at how the story would end, +/-.

You need a chrome bumper and maybe graft a shelby GT lower apron. I think its looking great.

Right on! I would have to agree with Rustytruck though. Grafting the bottom on would look pretty sweet!

Funny you should mention the bumper! I have a concept bumper that I might try saved on the house computer and I've been trying to mail it here to my laptop to no avail! Sure not a doctor, but definitely a Luddite! Btw, here's how this started, a little bit of playing with Photoshop. Also, a drop-dead gorgeous stock grill done by my buddy Bill at Z-tech Customz in Funnville, MI. Wish I had his skill set! Also btw, got a funny story about bidding against myself on Ebay when I bought the "68 Mustang GT grill!

Man howard. Thats awesome. Yes by all means graft a shelby lower on there so you will have marker/turn signals and then put a mustang front bumper where it goes between the valance and grill modify it to match the bronco lines of course. Bud dayum thats sweet!!!!
