Finally got to get a little work done.

New sending units and pigtails on both tanks and reinstalled the aux tank. Fuel gauge still isn't working. Showing empty even with a few gallons in each. More troubleshooting required there.

New brake lines on the rear end. Couldn't get the rear brakes installed because one of my new wheel cylinders was packaged wrong.

Finished installing the rear lift and bolted the rear end in. I didn't get a picture of the pinion angle, but I was pretty much out of drive shaft so I think I'm going to order a set of shims and see how that works.

Rebuilt the carb.

Installed windshield wiper assembly. They work!

Last picture is with the front end jacked up to get an idea of the stance and level it some to set the float in the carb.

looking good, more than likely you will need a longer drive shaft

Finally got to get some work done. We finished putting the lift on and got the front end put back together. I still have a good bit to do but it's looking pretty good. I've included pictures of the rear driveshaft and the front steering geometry to see what you guys think.

With it sitting normal without out anyone or any extra weight in it, the splines are barely showing on the rear driveshaft. Looks like I will be getting a new driveshaft. Eventually I may move the rear end back an inch so I would definitely need one by then.

If you are planning to move the rear back I would run the shaft you have for now and get a longer one after the axle move.

It's been slow, but I've made some progress. Had the Dana 30 rebuilt and much to my surprise, had a locker in it. Based on that plus the coil springs with air bags, double shock mounts, and some welded patches on the frame just behind the front bumper, I'm thinking this was either beefed up for offroading with a winch/winch bumper or it was used as a snow plow at one time. Either way, the locker was an unexpected bonus.

On the downside, it drug out long enough to prevent me from bringing it to OCBR.

I'm definitely going to need a longer driveshaft for the rear and I'm sure the front too.

The lift moved my front over a couple inches to the right so I'm going to need an adjustable trac bar.

Steering is very loose but drives straight. New drag link/tie rod will fix that I hope. The box seems good.

I definitely have it going in the right direction and hope to have it on the road very soon! Plenty of minor things to do, but I'm just going to keep chipping away at it.
