My dad bought this Bronco brand new, I remember growing up in and around it. He (oficially/regrettably?) gave it to me on my 21st birthday after I had been driving it daily to college and back home every now and then. About 5 or so years ago I decided I was going to disassemble it and rebuild it from the ground up. I started off pretty good with floor replacement, etc., but other projects kept pushing it to the side. I've slowly still gathered parts over the years and have recently kicked myself into gear again, largely in part to some parts I got from another member (thanks again JSK!), a decent sized purchase at WH at their annual get together and some more parts picked up at TBP this weekend. So I'll start it off with pictures of the most recent accomplishments and add to the thread as I get back to the body, cage, drive train, etc. It may be slow going at times due to finances, the fact I'm repairing another Bronco to give to my dad and with a couple other distracting %) projects that ideally will sell for added Bronco partso ;D, but I'll try to keep with it and this thread as much as I can. Some of the description in my signature will change with its completion.

Here's the latest from the last few weekends, got the frame and all the undercarriage parts blasted and painted

Looking good! Keep those pics coming! Think it's cool you're putting one together for your dad.

^Yeah, I figured I owed one back to my dad, he gave me a '31 Chevy a long time ago that never got worked on so I traded/sold it and got this to fix up for him. He doesn't even know I sold the '31 yet, trying to make this one a nice driver for him as a surprise. The '31 was a major project that wouldn't have gotten finished in time for him to enjoy.

Here's the '70 I picked up for him, probably just mention it here and there in this thread rather than start another one.

Got dad's Bronco all one color (just quickie rattle can for now) and running, threw my hard top on it found some decent used 32s. Now to start floor replacement, etc. while driving the bugs out of it.
