VERY tastefully executed all-around; some unique and clever design ideas as well! I "think highly" of about 1 modded vehicle in 100 that I see - yours is the one in the last hundred! I like the cut of your jib, Sir!

Super nice compliment.... Greatly Appreciated.... I know that a few of my mods will not be liked by others, but I am building what I think I will really enjoy driving....

Looking good keep the progress coming .

Can't remember if I got your address to mail those new U-bolts. Send it and I will get those in the mail. The frame I got from you really worked out perfect for helping me finish my rotisserie, thanks.

Thought I would also include what I did to my frame. Put together a special fitting on the end of my pressure washer hose to be able to run the hose down the inside of the frame make sure I got everything out. I then had the frame sandblasted. I coated the inside of the frame with two different coats using an Eastwood system for treating an inner frame, then I primed it and then painted it.

I'm using the same internal frame coating from Eastwood. How many cans did it take to do your frame?

I used them all. I would wait 10 mins, then spray the entire inside again. I would also use different holes in the frame each time to try and make sure I got good coverage.....

Forgot to add these to by build thread. Got the 4x4x2 steering box completed, and also got my hydroboost unit ready to go.

Well, its been a while. Opening a new business, police shootings in Baton Rouge, and the 1000 year flood that devastated Baton Rouge. First and foremost, please pray for the families that have had their lives changed by this unprecedented history in Baton Rouge.

I will also add to this that my shop was broken in to, and most of my tools were stolen. Welder, chop saw, impact tools, portable ban saw, sockets... all gone. I was thankful they did not vandalize my build.

With all this, I brought my drivetrain home to my garage for a little more security.

Engine has been completely rebuilt. 347 Stroker ( Mexican Block ), nice little cam that should be interesting to hear when I crank it up. As you can see, yes, its Tri-power. I wanted to do something a little different. Explorer Serp installed. NV3550 conversion complete. Twin Sticks with J-Shift Dana 20. Drive shafts and gas tank are next. Tires and rims will be last. Then on to the body work.

More updates on the way. Hopefully wont take so long for the rest.

Feels good to be back.

Scott

Yes, prayers and thoughts to those in Baton Rouge. Also sorry to here about your tools being stolen.

Your build looks awesome! I like that you are doing your own thing. Not an LSU fan (Go Kansas State Wildcats! ;D) but what you are doing with those colors is impressive.

Good to see you back into it Scott. Hope you and your family fared well with the flooding. Love what you are doing with the tri-power. Definitely different. Definitely awesome.

Love the build, especially the Tripower. After owning a '66 GTO Tripower, I'm a big fan of them. If you resist the urge to over-jet, they were surprisingly easy to tune and definitely draw attention.
It's been a rough patch for Louisianans - even the start of the college football season. Hopefully your build will keep making you smile.

It has been a rough time for South Louisiana and I pray that there will be peace in every way. It is truly sad.

Your build is awesome, and being a huge LSU fan, the engine colors are super cool! I would really like to hear that cranked up.

Yeehawbouree!
That IS a roller-cam motor though, correct?

Guess I should go back through to make sure, bit wanted to throw that in real quick into the discussion.

Congrats on the instantaneous fireup!
Are those heat-wrapped shorty headers? Wasn't really sure, but that's what it looked like.
