You can find this Inline Bracket listed on eBay. I have the one for the 99-2004 Mustang HydroBoost.

Mine is for a 90-93 Astrovan.

Still trying to find a shallow bracket to mount to my firewall. I've looked at the ones on eBay and the stick out too far for me. BC has a nice simple one but they can't confirm if the reservoir on the Astro Van Hydro boost will clear my valve covers/ air cleaner. My first choice is to use the Astro van booster I currently have. BC recommends using late 70' Cadillac booster without the remote reservoir.

Wild horses has a very nice bracket but the only offer it with a whole new system including a new Hydroboost. Anyone have any luck with a non angled bracket that clears 302 (normal valve covers/air cleaner) while using Astro hydro unit?

Hey check ou this new WH product I came across: https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/MOAB-Vacuum-Boost-Power-Brake-System/Bronco_Power_Brakes

Looks sick! Well thought out and clean looking. I was hoping to upgrade to hydro more affordably ..... lol now I've got this pipe dream of buying this MOAB system to go along with my hydro upgrade!

What exactly is the configuration of your 302? Stock valve covers? Carb and air filter, I assume? Body lift?

The WH non-angled Hydratech bracket should clear your engine just fine if you rotate the booster 90 or 180 deg. like most do. I helped with the development of the Hydratech units for the Bronco and the straight one was designed to clear what I think you have on your truck. I ran one for several years on my truck with EFI that has more clearance issues than yours.

I currently run a BC plate like you're asking about - will try and get some photos soon that might be of help to you. It should also clear your setup just fine if you rotate the booster 180 deg.

Back in the early days when we were first adapting hydroboost to the EBs, a number of us used the internal accumulator model boosters that BC recommended - strictly for clearance reasons. After a few installs, it became apparent that rotating the units with external accumulator units was a better idea. The internal accumulator units weren't ever plentiful (only used on diesel Eldorados/Tornados/Rivieras) back in the day and as I learned more about the hydroboost units, I realized the internal accumulator units weren't ideal for a number of reasons, not the least of which being the designer of them believing they were inferior!

I have used the superduty units the astrovan units and the mustang cobra unit and I like it the best you can rotate the mounting bracket and it angles the unit toward the drivers fender a little. I will post up a pic or 2
