I missed out on Super Celebration 2012, there is just a lot to do when you've taken it down this far and you don't have a professional crew of 4-5 working 8 hours a day on the truck.

However, looking forward to seeing it down the road! :D

Got the rear brakes installed with new drums, shoes, and hardware. Got the brake lines installed except for the brake hoses to the calipers. Picked those parts up today to finish it and hope to start on the fuel tank install this weekend.

Got the passenger quarter panel cut out this weekend. I still got to drill out the spots welds on the upper section and get that piece out.

I also cut out the right rear corner bed section as it was rusted through and have a replacement piece for it.

I hope to take the tub to the media blaster next month before I reinstall these pieces.

I still need to find a good tailgate and doors.

Purchased the transmission and got it put together with the np205 using washers as spacer. Installed in the frame so I can work on building a transmission crossmember and transfer case mount. My transfercase and transmission lack a little less than a 1/4 of an inch coming together so instead of grinding more metal out I think I am going to make spacer out of aluminum or steel plate. Or i may have one made.

Anyway, I am making some progress.

Your build looks great and all too familiar (in the early stages anyway). You have done quite abit in a short amount of time... You should be commended.

I started mine way before you and your miles ahead of me.

Keep up the good work, she will be done soon.... mine probably much, much later;D

Latest update:

I have been mocking up the transmission crossmember. I am installing a m5r2 and np205. I am using 1/2" x 2" flat stock for the cross brace and 1/4 plate on the side of the frame. I still got to tack weld everything together and them build the np205 side mount. Here are few pictures.

I know the front yoke is close as it is 1/4 from the crossmember but the transfer case still has the 1350 yokes and I will be swapping them out for the 1310 so i will pick up another 1/4 of clearance.

I will take more pictures when I get the brace finished...
