Been working on this in my spare time...Its a custom plate that goes on top of the intake manifold on my 5.0 explorer swap (that I can't seem to find the time to start).

CNC finally freed up for some "government" work so I'll set up and run it this morning and post up the finished piece. CAM software said side 1 should take 22 min but the CNC is always faster...could probably do it in half that but I've turned the feed/speeds down and am taking light cuts because I'm not clamping on much...

once you get started are you planning on making one for every year and selling them?
It would be fun to have.

Here is the finished product - turned out pretty nice!

I made 2 extras to maybe sell/trade that didn't have the year on them...EFIguy if you see this - I'll trade you one of these plates for a PCM flash!!

As far as making them for others, if there is enough interest for a small run, preferably more than 10 pcs, its pretty easy just to change the year that is engraved, or potentially do some custom engraving if its not too complex...the machines at work are pretty slow right now so I could probably work them in relatively easily.

I can work up a more exact cost, but I could probably do them for around $80-$90 in smaller batches (matl + programming time + after hours CNC time and tooling). I don't know if its worth that to anyone...
