tsl radials in sand??

Will my new 32x10.5r15 swampers be alright in sand? thinking of doing a dune run in August. never been in sand before. guessing air them down to 10 psi?? advice?? also have open gears front and rear. will be installing locker in the rear in spring, any input helpful. thanks Scott

In my experience, 10-12 psi seems to be the magic number where tires suddenly do pretty well in sand, even skinny little street tires, and I've never had an issue losing a bead. Sub 6-8 psi and losing a bead becomes a very real possibility, especially with skinny tires on wider wheels.

What the rest said.. and just test it at a couple different psi's and find that sweet spot

bet they'll do well for you
