The wife took these pictures as we were going through the Ocoee Gorge today (Hwy-64)

Look like someone went wheelin in the TN mountains. Anyone here?

I remember in the early 90s I needed to drive from Chattanooga to Murphy NC
Looked on the map and 64 was a direct route
Never been on that road before

Really really bad idea to take an 18 wheeler thru there .
On a sunny summer Saturday .

I just drove about 8 mph and everyone slowly got out of my way

I just went on a 2500 mile college tour road trip with my wife and HS senior son. We were in BC last Wednesday and I had a Red Truck Ale draft with dinner, I missed the Red Truck cans!

By the way, over 9 days I saw a total of ZERO Broncos! I looked for them driving, I looked for them parked, I looked for them being towed. Nothing, not one. You'd think driving through five western states that I would have seen at least one!

Good trip, though. But not in the Bronco, a little too much.

Don't it suck, not seeing any classics.. glad the trip was good

^^^ nice machine. Certainly some stuff has been done to it as well as some spot painting.
Mine is same model/color with original paint, but probably never babied too much.
Might wanna mention to them to get a shorter air filter element. :p

Yes, had a little touch up done. He laid it on its side in 82. Had to have some repairs done that year. Last time it had any thing real significant done to it. And yes I said something to him about that air cleaner top hitting. I told him to put a 1” body lift in it tho.

Saw two this week, one that hopefully made it home before the afternoon storms cut loose. Went out for a drive this am before it got too hot, and met the owner of this beautiful early ‘66.

Hey T-Bird, Boone’s not the only Lab who loves cruisin’!

I like the trimmed bumpers!
Are they particular to a '66?

Yep, from what I knew they were an early '66 only thing. But some here say they were found on some '67's as well, so not sure.
But early only for sure.

They're comin' out all over! Must be the weather. That, or the dog insisted on a ride in at least one case!
Good quick draw on the camera too.
