Hey Dennis, sorry about your building!!! Glad your EB's were spared!!! That storm kinda split and went North and South of me.
Good luck with the clean-up!!!;D;D

South of you....like right over me!! I was at a wrestling banquet and expected to see my Bronco blown across the school parking lot when I walked out. We got lucky as it seemed to soften up somewhat as it approached.

If you are still cleaning up at week's end Dennis, send me a PM - I need an excuse to come move debris (and look at the mother of all Bronco stables :D)

Hey fellows thanks for well wishes....Thanks Pat! I hope most of the mess is gone by the weekend. I will probably put one of those "blue flexible roofs" on the end of the shop.

NGA your in the same boat as me......you like trees!

Ford Man......do you have a grapple for cheap?!?

Sorry to see this but glad yall were unhurt. Hope everyone else in the Heflin area is OK. Those storms yesterday were really odd around here. They were spread out, localized and very intense. We escaped without damage just a lot of rain.
Looks like you could use ol finger pointer to help get things straightened out around there.

Glad you guys are okay. We were fortunate enough that it missed us, but several people in nearby communities are in a different situation.

Everything is going to be OK here eventually. Had a contractor (one that we do crane service for) stop by Tuesday and look at repairing. His estimate is 6-7k.....WOW!
Thanks James..... and Jimmy...Your seat and air cleaner from ford man are in one of those Broncos, so I'm glad the shed held up and didn't get "squashed"!

Another Afternoon at the Office

A few pics from the local Cruise-In. Seven Broncos in attendance: a '66 original U13, a '68 U14, two '69 U15s, a '72 Sport, a '76 Explorer, and a '77. Of course there were a bunch of other interesting rides too...like a baby blue 24 foot long ElDorado with T-tops!

A nice day for a ride! A great ride to the top of Alabama, Mount Cheaha, walked the boardwalk to "Bald Rock", and climbed a CCC built fire tower (built in the late 1930's). Then a beautiful country scenic ride back home, probably a little over 100 miles of Bronco therapy.

Sweetie gets floor pan work on Independance Day.

I started some pan replacement on the silver '77 months ago, but she was sidelined, so today I pulled her in the sign shop to work on the floor pans a little more. (It has rained ALL day here with the temperature about 68-69 degrees....It's the 4th of July!...better than scorching heat though!). Sweetie's floor pans showed No signs of rust on the bottom side and they were not coated with undercoating or bedliner, just original red oxide primer and a little black paint in places. The right side was the worst: the few holes in the driver side, I will just weld up.....after I remove the auxiliary tank! Then, they will be almost "new" again!

Yeah, I bet it's tough trying to decide which shop to use, the paint shop, the machine shop, the sign shop, the open air covered deck, or one of the many air conditioned basements that you store the pretty ones in!!!!%)%)%)

You rascal, get back to work!!!!;D;D;D

OK we are in the throws of mass spot welding in the same areas. what are you using after you spot weld to protect from rust? What kind of seam sealer before or after the welding are you using?
