Q78's. A buddy runs them on factory chevy 2500hd wheels ( I think are only 7.5" wide????????) looks very well proportioned.if you did want to go 16" wheels try 9.00 x16s. I just mounted a set of old mccreary superlug 9.00x16s on my firewood hauler, measure a true 35.5" tall, they are as tall as the 38.5x14.50x16.5s they are replacing, and fit on a stock steel wheel.

I'm looking for tires to fit a 7" wide 15" wheel that are 35-36" tall. Don't want an aggressive mud type either, which seems to be most of what's out there in the "tall and narrow" department. Anyone got a lead on what I'm missing?

If I have to, I can get the wheels (Coker Tire steelies) in 8" width too..but I'm trying to stay as skinny as possible with these.

Why?:) I think they will look goofy

They're on beadlocks that's why there isn't a problem.

The more narrow the wheel the more positive outward pressure on the bead. Less likely to need a bead lock. You are much more likely to blow a bead on a 10in wheel than an 8 never less a 7 or 6.

I’ve been looking at those power kings for quite some time, just need to find the wheels. I think they would look badass. Tall and skinny.

The old Gateway Buckshots are being made again but in only N78x15 (31x9.5) and P78x16 (33x10) those are approx. sizes in inches. https://ok4wd.com/gateway-buckshot-mudder
Here is a set of old P78x15 on my 76 with stock Bronco wheels, when they were new they actually measured ~33.25" on stock 5.5" wide wheels @28psi
Tall skinny tires are not easy to find anymore and not much to select from, the 255/85/16 will get you the best selection nowdays

Narrow 35" tire?

I agree on the 255/85s. I had them on my old Tacoma and loved them.
