Also these Dennis carpenter fender bolts are made of a nicer stainless then the others I have. Maybe even 304?

Well my fancy spare tire carrier is going mostly well. My 80s bronco spare holder works, but the wheel hit slightly on the latch. So we spaced it out for now. Either this or move the latch 8” further in and fix and repaint the tailgate or live with it spaced. Butter smooth with the brass bushing and stainless pins though! Next is a safety cable idea. Also the 8” wheel isn’t helping the latch.

Next bronco project. Bronco door speaker trim rings with a cutout. Goal is to get the speaker higher up. And door closes. This is setup for focal 5.25” speakers. My bronco came cut for door speakers.

Rigid LED. I have led wiring in my frame, so I might as well use it.

Earlier on in my build. The only leds I actually used were the backups. So this is my plan.

I had speakers in the same spot (came that way) but I found that I kept kicking them when I was getting out. So, I had my body guy weld in new metal to get rid of them. You have a good idea though.

Well my tiny towns car show was yesterday. About 550 cars showed up. I didn’t enter the bronco to win any awards. But I won best modified truck. I let kids sit in it and a few adults during the show. It was neat to show off some of my details.

She shined up pretty well. I have like 1400 miles on the build, so scratches, dings, seam sealer cracks have all shown up by now.

Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy and rig! Glad all your hard work and attention to detail was recognized.😁. Quite an turnout for a small town and accomplishment for a show with that many vehicles, congrats!!
