My passenger side rock panel was rusted out so I went with a Tom's 3 sided new rocker. After removal of the old one I POR15 the inside as shown in the pics. It was a pain to align the rocker panel with the front fender rear quarter and door. It turned out pretty well. about a 1/4 spacing all the way around.

Here are some pics of the new rocker panel. This was the biggest challenge so far as far as sheet metal replacement, but not to bad. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

Looking great! Do you have any previous experience with metal fab or body work?

Very little experience with body work. One of my hobbies is building stuff out of metal. But my day job is building and maintaining powerlines for the local utility Co.

Great work man! How hard was it to remove and replace the lower portion of the rear quarters? I really need to do this on my 67, but don't even know where to start the attack.

The lower rear quarters weren't to bad. I started of with my 4 1/2" cutoff wheel and cut around the quarter panel about 1.5" from all sides front, back and top. Take wheel off. After the majority of the panel was off I took my spot weld removal bit from inside the wheel well. After using my spot weld bit all the way around I then took my air chisel and pried in between the 2 pieces of metal. This worked very well. Prep area well. While the old panel is off I then took a 5/32 bit and drill through the top of the upper quarter because when u put the new panel on you can weld from inside the tub through the holes you drilled, (drill maybe every 3 inches) Good luck let me know if you have any other questions

Showing off my new fiberglass hood and new tailgate. The fenders on and lining up well. Here are some quick pics of the progress.

I still have plenty of body work left to do but I really need to get the frame off to the sand blaster. I pick the tub with this Harbor Freight hoist. I've used this damn hoist a ton. With some leveling blocks tied to the front end pick very level and a little added weight in the rear. I picked the tub straight up then wheeled the frame out from under it on rollers. I then set the tub on some wooden blocks for the night.

Ya the picker does a great job after I get the tub back on the frame I'll loan my rotisserie out to whoever needs it.

Slick trick there J-man with that HF hoist! I been thinking about getting one.

"I've used this d--n hoist a ton"

Is that the 1 or 2 ton one? I see they have two in their sale paper that came this month.
