I got the 5.0 married to the 4r70w. It actually was pretty difficult by myself, I used a combo of bolts, jacks and the engine hoist. I had to cut a tab off the 4r70w to clear the BC broncos headers. I believe someday it will run again:)

I broke the stock dip stick for the 5.0 and I had some amazon gift cards, I splurged and bought the lokar locking dip stick. Wow is it fancy!

I got the heater intake all dialed. This project sucked. I used chemicals to strip off the old green paint. The stripper burned my arms and my hands, nasty stuff! I then drilled the rivets, had the steel plate powder coated, painted the plastic and put new stainless rivets on.

Here is the front shock- FOX-985-24-084. For some reason the rears won't be here till monday! My measurement puts it at 21" extended, which matches the 21" or so it should be. I had to press out a jeep attachment for the bottom, which you can see in the picture. I then got a 5/8-1/2 steel bushing and a 1/2 inch by 2-1/2" long grade 8 bolt and washer and lock nut.

Here is the exhaust hanger for my stainless 2-1 BC Bronco's exhaust. It comes with pretty rusty pieces, so I got a new stainless 3" exhaust clamp and a 90 Degree Wire Universal Exhaust Hanger - 3/8" 304 Stainless Steel (3" x 9" Long). Then painted part and powder coated the part that attaches to the frame. I also got all new stainless hardware. Gosh this stainless obsession is getting bad.

Here is the front shock installed. They fit great. I think I'm going 3.5" springs in the front. This is a 2.5" now.

I got the painless wiring harness installed behind my dash. I saw on here that people did it out of the rig. Wow was that a great idea and saved me a ton of headache. I have a tuffy glove box and mounting the fuse panel turned out to be a pain. I used stainless cushion clamps for the loomed harness. The mesh split look is cool stuff. I re-used all stock plugs.

Inside of the glove box.

This project took forever. But it's done right.
