I’ve been eyeballing these poison spider Ricochet ones. Just would need to weld them to a 2x2 rail tied into frame. There are two versions that would fit an EB, 45” set for a cut bronco or the 54” set for a luber.

I've been looking as well. I wish i had access to a tubing bender to make a set that also creates a frame tie in for the roll bar main hoop. I found these. I wish the chassis unlimited didn't have their logo.

contact chassis unlimited and tell them you want a set without their logo. I've purchased from them a bunch of times and they've been great. It's all water jetted bent and welded in house so they can do that for you no problem.
They also do %20 off for 4th of July..... just sayin

I'm looking for ideas to pre fab a combination rock slider/side step for my 69 Bronco, or is there something out there already for sale?

Are you just going to weekend warrior w/it or some hard core stuff?

That might be the case for some more HC sliders :)

Just to throw ours into the mix:
WH Rock Rails
I like them Paul but after the effort of replacing inner and outer rockers 3 yrs ago and painting them I can't bring myself to drill into them... looking for frame mounted options.

Ahh, ok. I hear 'ya.
But when you said "sliders" that's usually meaning a rocker panel guard. What you're looking for is more along the lines of the traditional Nerf Bar, or Step Bar.
But maybe I'm behind the times and they call some of those sliders too? Wouldn't be the first time!

Good luck. Not as many of those around, but some do exist.

Paul

I've always used the term "Rock Skis" myself.

I just posted up some pics in the chat section of my steps. They are power steps that mount to the frame, I was in the same boat, couldn't drill into my brand new rockers, and couldn't afford the amps so me and a buddy built them. Jim ;)

I like Nick's but I don't think he sells them. You can see a pair on lots of his builds. I'll be building something similar and mounting my aux tank to it. I posted a basic design earlier. It's in the bottom link

i plan on using rectangle tubing and making sliders/steps that bolt to the frame.
will case (copy and steal everything) how they bolt to the frame from other steps. they will only stick out as far as the flairs and extend to go right under the flairs with the same angle as flairs on each end. it will appear to be one line from the front flair to the back bumper. if i was chip foose i would draw ya a picture.
