I did a front disk brake conversion about 10 years ago and I want to replace the calipers. How do I find out "what type of caliper" I need to purchase from the auto parts store for replacement? I heard somewhere that the calipers are the same as a Chevy caliper, if so I'm not sure of the year to ask for? THE CALIPER IS RED IF THAT HELPS!!?? the kit came from one of the sponsors on this web site. Thanks, Matt

Take the caliper in to the parts store. My guess is chevy. 1982 blazer. They should be able to match it up.

Even if it looks the same, make sure the hose bolt threads are the same. That was the problem I had with a newer Tom's kit i ordered.
